Peanut Butter - Oatmeal Cookies

Peanut Butter-Oatmeal Cookies

3/4 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
2 cups rolled oats

In Bowl Beat butter, peanut butter on medium speed about 30 seconds. Add sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined.
Beat in flour and then stir in the oats. 
You may add chocolate chips or nuts if you like 

Drop dough by rounded tsp. 2 inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 375 for 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

Makes 60 cookies

Hot Apple Cider

Jennifer, my daughter, Wife, Mother of 4 and a
Teacher made this recipe on New Year's Eve!Ingredients:
One package of "mulling Spices" Jen got hers at the farmers market. Most packages come with a recipe on the back. She used one gallon of cider and cut up gala apples along with the mulling spice's. This recipe was made in a crock pot. It made the house smell so good! It was excellent Jen!
If you look close, you can see the mulling spices wrapped, and floating in the crock pot

Karen's Stuffed Mushrooms

Karen is my Daughter, a Wife, Mother and a Nurse!
She made these yummy Mushrooms for
New Year's Eve!


Ingredients:

36 Ounces of Mushrooms
washed, remove stems and stet aside
2-3 Stalks of Celery Chopped
1 Small Onion
1 Cup Seasoned Bread Crumbs
1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
10 Strips of Bacon
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup Milk

Cook bacon and remove from pan.
Add Onion, Celery and Mushroom stems (chopped) to the bacon drippings. Stir and cook until tender not crunchy
Mix bread crumbs, cheese, bacon (chopped), eggs and milk together in the pan
Stuff mushrooms
Bake for 20 min at 350





Everything gets chopped!

Cooked Bacon removed and celery, onion and mushrooms are cooked together in the same pan!
Bread Crumbs added
Bacon added
Milk to moisten
Ready to Stuff!
Ready for the Oven!
